This one's for The Dogs

Hat // Shirt // Jeans // Sandals

It's been so long!  How are you?? As for me, work started to get really crazy, I found myself in a funk, and then I really didn't know what to write about; but I'm here now!
I was inspired to write this post because my 4-legged nephew is the cutest ball of fluff I've ever seen, and I was able to help dog sit him while my brother went on vacation.  This also happened to be around the time that I found Doggy Style Clothing on Instagram.  They have no idea I'm writing this, and I bought the hat from these photos based on a random Instagram post my friend sent me.  The minute I saw the hat, I knew it was made for me...a liquor rep with a serious love of dogs (yes I want to pet your dog and they will be the first ones I meet at any party).  Their site offers a variety of items like hats, mugs, and even beach towels.  All fun and Insta-worthy finds. The best part, is that each purchase from their site goes to feeding rescue dogs!  From each sale, they donate part of the proceeds to non-profit animal rescue/advocacy organizations across North America.  I had to share, because I know my fellow dog lovers will love their site as much as I do.  If you don't love dogs...well, I don't think that's possible ;)  Before you hop over to their site and fill up your cart, enjoy these precious puppy pics!

Internet, I introduce to you Rocky the Bernedoodle.

Cheers,
Ashley

Hi there!  Hope you all had a warm and relaxing weekend!  This week is about to get crazy with work, but I love to keep busy, because it honestly keeps me productive!  Which can be a little difficult in January.
Dressing in the cold can be challenging. You want to look put together and show your style, but it's more important to be warm!  My biggest tip, is to kick up a neutral outfit with a fun statement coat-this amazing blue one that is under $100.  It's selling fast, so I've also linked a similar option.  If you wear a lot of neutrals and darker tones in the winter, like I do, a fun colored coat can kick up your outfit.  Any color will do, as long as you feel good in it.  If you're unsure, look for a color that people compliment you on when you wear it.  A fun shoe is another outfit elevator and it was love at first sight with these babies!  I kept my outfit pretty basic, with a classic crewneck sweater (under $20!), faux leather leggings that go with everything, and a button down with a twist-it has sheer and solid pieces, is a looser fit on its own, and I love how it peaks out of the sweater.  You can even pop a tank underneath the shirt for extra warmth-more on winter layering here.
For this look, I partnered with a new photographer and she was wonderful!  I get nervous around people I don't know, but I felt at ease, and I think the photos are fantastic!  If you're in the market for some photos, I've linked her Facebook & Instagram below.
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding style or posts, let me know!
