Happy Summer fashionistas!  I got to enjoy this gorgeous weather by the pool today and I feel like a new person!  It's not only been a scorcher here in Virginia Beach, but the humidity is in full force! Since there's plenty of Summer left to enjoy I wanted to share my top 10 essentials!  Most of these items I have been loyal to for many Summers now.

1. A Fun Float-Who doesn't love to just float!  You can keep your hair out of the water, stay cool, and just relax.  We even have events at our beaches called "Floatopia" where hundreds of people show up just to float in their favorites.  This donut float is one of the most fun I've seen and it's extremely comfortable to lounge in.  I picked mine up from Amazon last Summer, but they must be pretty popular because they're still available!  Target has them now too!

2. Beach Tote- Honestly, I haven't bought a new beach tote in years.  I usually get them from DSW when they're a gift with purchase.  In this case, I received this beauty from my Summer FabFitFun box.  I think this season's box was the best yet and it's worth checking out.  Be sure to sign up on their site for a 10% off code.  I love the rope handles, the adorable saying, and that it matches my beach towels! It's just a great easy bag that fits everything.

3. Comfy Summer Sandals- Mine are from a trip to TJ Maxx last summer and I love them.  I usually wear cheap ones to the beach but for Summer pool days and times when I'm walking, I have to have something with some cushion!  Some of my favorites are from Dolce Vita, the DV line they have at Target, & Sam Edelman.

4. Hydrating Facial Spray-As important as it is to stay hydrated, it's important to refresh your skin from the outside as well.  The Mario Badescu Facial Spray has been a favorite of mine for over five years now.  He keeps the packaging simple so it can be a more affordable "Prestige" skin care line (only $7 for 4 oz).  I love the light rose scent & how refreshing this is!  I also use it on occasion to set my makeup.  It's paraben & cruelty free as well.

5. Sunscreen- We've all heard how important sunscreen is and I've not always been as good about it as I could be, so I won't harp on you about it!  I will say, that when you find one you love, it makes it easier to be serious about it.  What I love about Hawaiian Tropic is the smell!  To me, this is Summer in a bottle.  The scent drew me in, but after many Summers, they have never let me down as far as sun protection.  The spray gel soaks right in, makes my skin glisten, & has a bronzer built in.  The sheer coverage SPF 30, I actually use on my face and body and it absorbs right in.

6. Sunglasses- Pretty obvious essential, but I'm in love with this Cat Eye pair from Quay.  The blue lenses are such a statement!  I'm loving the quality of this brand and they're very reasonably priced.  I almost never go over $50 for my shades (they always get scratched or lost) and these just make the cut.  I get mine from a boutique called Bevello, but you can get these beauties online as well.  These are my second pair from them and they've got a loyal customer now!

7. Giant Beach Towel-  I love giant beach towels!  I use these for beach yoga, pool days, sometimes even after a shower.  Regular towels just aren't big enough for my liking!  I've had mine for two Summers now, but Target is still offering these "Towels for two" and they do not disappoint.  I may switch out all of my towels ;)
