Give 'em The Cold Shoulder

Hello lovelies!  

     There is just something about a white sweater during the cold winter months!  I love the contrast against blue denim, and it just instantly brightens things up.  I'm also a sucker for a classic piece like this cable knit sweater, with a fun new detail like the open shoulder. I picked up this beauty about a month ago and it washes and wears beautifully!  (Side note:  I wash my sweaters on cold and do a short air dry cycle in the dryer before hanging them or laying them flat to dry.)  Luckily for all of you, this beauty is now on sale and comes in a few other colors, if the white just isn't for you.  I opted for the petite sizing in this and I'm glad I did (I'm 5'4" with a shorter torso and longer legs for reference).  Also, these booties are a deal from Target!  They're part of their DV line and I'm definitely a fan.  These are very comfortable (walked all day in them) and a great option, if you can be as hard on your shoes as I am.  I finished off this outfit of basics with my current favorite jeans, with their perfect unfinished hem...great way to showcase your shoes. 

     After stopping by this beautiful park, we spent the day at an indoor wine festival...brave thing to do in white.  I made it until the very last sampling table, before dropping a bit of red wine on it.  Why?!?!  Tide pen to the rescue!  I seriously do not/can't (I'm a bit clumsy sometimes) leave the house without one.  They are such lifesavers.
