Derby Day Inspired Style-"Rose' all Day"

Hat (Sold out) Similar // Cold-Shoulder Ruffle Sweater // DL 1961 "ANGEL" (last year) // Amazing Shoe Dupe! // Fitbit Band (Charge 2)

Derby day is here!  Honestly, attending the Kentucky Derby is on my bucket list!  When I make the trip, you know I'l be fully embracing all of the traditions that go along with it-a large statement hat, fun dress, & a Mint Julep in hand.  In the meantime, I couldn't help but work this amazing derby appropriate hat in to an everyday look.  I'll also be rocking it at an upcoming wine festival (Rose' all day, after all!) and on the beach, when I need a little break from the sun!  This particular design sold fast, but Express has another done in black sequins, that I love just as much.
This amazing sweater really brings everything together for me.  It's also so incredibly soft that is feels like pajamas!  Their One Eleven line is highly addictive for this very reason & because it includes great basics at a good price.  My white denim isn't online anymore, but DL1961 is one of my top five lines of denim -I'm putting together a lineup of the best white denim.
My Vince Camuto sandals were a Nordstrom splurge last Summer, but they were my most worn Summer heel and are sneaking in to the lead this year too.  Target has a dupe that is incredibly similar!  Target's version will give you the same look, but with more of a block heel (sturdy & long lasting) & a zipper with a pull, instead of a buckle.  For $35, you can't beat it!  You can grab them online, but I've seen them in store, and it's always a win if you can try it on first!
Lastly, is my "gold watch", which is actually my Fitbit.  I'm really in love with it, but more on that later.  I've received SO many compliments and questions on it since getting this band.  It has a strong magnetic closure (trust me I wear it all day and I'm always on the move), it's comfortable, & incredibly chic looking.  I even went back and ordered the rose gold & my mom picked up a few herself!  They are really impressive for $15 and I know I'll be going back for the silver as well.
