Happy Saturday! I couldn't stand to wait for my new computer to arrive to bring you this post, so I created it using my phone and Kindle. It's definitely presented some challenges, but it worked! In case you missed it, my computer crashed while I was on vacation (maybe upset I didn't bring her along), but after six years I can't complain. Pretty sure that's a record for me anyway! Enough about that though, let's jump in...
So, I'm all about fall, but with temps in the 80's here in Virginia, it's been tough to transition! It does tend to cool a bit at night, which allows me to break out my beloved cardigans! My first choice is this amazing pink (grandpa style, if you will) cardigan in the most amazing pink. Pink is BIG this season and I'll take all the bright colors! Since the sweater is oversized, I wanted to keep it from looking too casual and paired it with some more fitted pieces. I love the juxtapostion of the casual cardigan with the sexiness of a "leather" legging and lace cami. I highly recommend both, as they'll be staples in your fall/winter wardrobe. The lace cami looks great under a V-neck cami so that the lace peaks out. The pleather or "scuba" leggings are so comfy, but add interest to basic outfits when partnered with a flannel or tee! I'm wearing the regular length folded under a bit, but my petite ladies now have the option of a shorter inseam-here. I could talk fall fashion all day, but I'll calm myself down-this time. Also, I'll be swapping out these block-heel sandals for over-the-knee boots when the fall weather does drop in.
