Spring Accessories: Dressing up Jeans & A Tee

Tee // Bootcut Jeans (Check the Express Factory stores to save a little $) // Booties // Cadet Hat (purchased in-store) (Corduroy version) // Aviator Sunglasses // Handbag (sold out in camel, but the black looks more expensive)

It's the freakin' weekend ya"ll!  Anyone else feel like they were on warp speed this week?  Ready for the weekend and a girl's day with one of my besties this Sunday.  I love exploring different places, so we're headed about 2 hours north to Richmond, VA.  If anyone has any recommendations, give me a shout.  :)
Now on to why I'm sure you stopped by, this incredibly comfortable and cute (at least I think so) outfit!  I picked up these jeans at my local Express Factory store, and they're a nice soft denim.  I normally find petite pants to be just a bit too short (I'm 5'4" with a short torso), but these work well for me with a flat or smaller heel.  Black denim is a staple item and I highly recommend adding a pair if you don't have some already.  My tee is from Cotton On (a couple of my malls have these stores) and I'm impressed.  They're soft (key selling point for me), wash well, and are $15, or 2 for $25.  They had a bunch of options in-store AND online.  I basically grabbed two wardrobe staples and let the accessories do the rest.
My hat and booties are fairly trendy items, but I can get a few seasons out of them and both were affordable.  These booties have gone with more outfits than I could have envisioned, and I'm loving the contrast against the black pants.  As for a hat, they just elevate an outfit and no one needs to know about second day hair.  I threw on some classic aviators and the look was/is complete!
Now I'm off for some St Patrick's Day festivities and hope you  all have a fun weekend!

Cheers,
Ashley
