Perfect Festive Dress & where I find Affordable Unique Pieces

(because every photo is amazing)

Dress is sold out, but other adorable (& affordable options) In Her Nature Boutique
// Cork Sandals (very comfortable & true-to-size

Happy Cinco De Mayo!  Hoping you get to enjoy this weekend and Spring's arrival!  Started off with a little brunch ( I do nothing without food) and lots of errands.  I feel like I haven't posted in a while, but hopefully its worth the wait!  I'm showcasing this adorable, perfect for Cinco dress, bringing you a shoe review, and some new pics I got from my friend Renee.  If you need family, wedding, or boudoir pics, she is honestly the best.  Take my word, because I'm not one to say I like pictures of myself.  Who's with me??
If you've been following me for a minute, you might also recognize that I picked up this dress (which left me plenty of room to eat what I wanted) from In Her Nature Boutique.  I love the personalized experience and the uniqueness that boutiques offer, but they can usually be pricey.  Anissa brings amazingly affordable pieces together and who doesn't want to support genuinely good people!?  She hosts pop ups all the time, and can do home parties too.    This particular dress is sold out, but she's always bringing in new items.  I follow her instastories to get a sneak peek of new items  and stay updated on where she'll be next.
This is kind of a combo post, so along with bringing you two of my fav lovely lady small businesses, I'm adding my Spring shoe review, as I don't want any of the items below to sell out...again!  I've rounded up my new top shoes and reviewed each one, with sizing tips below.  All of them are under $50...holla!  Most are actually under $25.

Happy shopping lovelies!

1. Faux Leather Slides- Ordered 1/2 size up based on reviews and they're perfect!  These are an amazing dupe for others that I've seen a ton of bloggers talk about!  You can't beat the under $15 price point and after walking around DC in these my feet were still happy.  There really isn't any padding or cushion, but I had no problems.  I purchased the "orange" (looks like a cognac in person)

2. Cork Sandal-These are probably my favs and I'm pretty surprised that I found these at Forever 21!  These are great quality!  Because cork is porous, I sprayed them twice with my waterproofing shoe protector.  I spray all of my shoes though!  These run true-to-size.  These also look exactly as they're pictured online and really add a fun spin to the Summer heel!

3. Faux Suede Wedge-True-to-size and I wear a lot of  neutrals, so these are a great pop of color, but there are black and tan options as well.  These have sold out once before in all colors and have been restocked, but they are going quick!  This style wedge is so on trend right now and the faux suede actually looks pretty good for the price.

4. Bow Flat- These are true-to-size as well.  I love the Gingham print and just wanted something cute and trendy for Spring.  There is a pink option too, if you prefer solids over prints.  They aren’t my most supportive shoes, but they don’t hurt my feet and my toes don't feel crowded, which can tend to happen with pointed shoes.  I just love a good bow!

5. Converse Slip On Sneaker-These are classics, but I'm just now getting in to them!  I went with these as my first pair of Converse because they have the elasticized back, so they are comfortable and secure on my feet, but I can slide them on and off.  I can't be the only one that is incredibly lazy when it comes to tying shoes!?  Anyway, I'm hooked these may be replacing my Sperry addiction.

Cheers,
Ashley
