I used them once and liked them more than I expected, but it wasn't until this week that I dug them out again. I'm actually wearing Macbeth as I type (you'll see it in action below). I was corrected in the store, as these are NOT polishes, but Lacquers...um, ok. It wasn't until I got home that I better understood what that was about. They do have a very strong, polish aroma. Don't take these in the car to paint while you ride. They have great color pay off though and you could get away with one coat in a pinch. They took me a little getting used to, but I love them now! They have your standard size polish brush, but the outer lid pops off and leave an adorable twist top with a bird in a crown-sucker for cute packaging. Definitely shake these and paint like you would with polish, but they are more of a paint consistency. Lacquers also protect the nail more than a polish does. Be sure to give these the 15-20 minutes of drying time! I topped mine off with the Essence gel-look top coat, for extra shine, but you honestly can skip it and you'll be very pleased with the finish! Lastly, these lasted a good 5-7 days and that is unheard of for me!! I am brutal when it comes to polish.

Really great line from Europe sold at Ulta. Only $1.99 for this! |
Moral of the story: Give these a whirl! Try a friend's first if you can, but if you buy it and hate it, I know Ulta will take it back, as long as 50% of the product is there; so save that receipt or buy it with the free rewards card so they can pull up your purchases!
