So I found myself with a little free time and while I could have watched a little television, but instead, I had the urge to see what Target had to offer. No matter how many times I try and convince myself I don't need anything, there's a tiny little part of me that knows all too well I won't come home empty-handed. You can guess the outcome...since here I am :) I will be the first to admit that I was not always a fan of Target's clothing and accessories, but they have definitely stepped it up! I did find my little haul of goodies in store, but I have added the links below if you'd like to pick these up for yourself.
This vest is perfect. I have wanted a denim vest for a while, but they have all been so boxy and big. I have a shorter torso, so I thought it was just me and almost gave up hope. I had seen the blue denim vests online (Target), but I was skeptical and the reviews kept mentioning a smell that would not wash out. I don't smell anything with the white denim...score! It's cotton with just a bit of spandex for added comfort and stretch. The distressing on the white is much less noticeable than on the blue, so I can still dress it up a bit.
This Lyocell shirt is a GREAT transition piece. It looks big and baggy on the hanger, but has a great fit when you put it on. The front flap pockets really help to boost my bust. ;) I immcediately pictured this with rolled sleeves and white shorts for now and black leggings and cognac boots for Fall (can't wait!). It's incredibly soft and longer in the back to cover your rear, which always makes me more comfortable when I opt for leggings.
These beauties will pair so well with both of the tops and many other pieces of my wardrobe. The straps on these are so unique and really flattering on the foot. Did I mention they're comfortable too! I held my breath as I put them on, because I was very skeptical at first. Glad I didn't let that stop me!
Until next time, happy shopping!
*Target did not sponsor or endorse this post. I bought these goodies on my own. :)
